Hold on, let me set the scene for you..

This might be how I felt when I opened my Glam Box.
Might be an exaggeration, might not. Never heard of a Glam Box? Probably because this is the – wait for it – First. Ever. One. Yes, definitely needed those full stops for added drama.
Glam Squad is a platform that connects beauty users and experts together in an online community, and they have launched a beauty box – My Glam Box! The subscription will cost you £15 a month plus £2.99 P&P per box. They use vegan products where possible, only work with brands who do not test on animals and use recycled and ethical packaging. The reason this could potentially be my holy grail of beauty boxes is because it is make-up
artist recommended, meaning lots and lotttts of makeup… “Hi my name is Savannah and since the age of 12 I have been strongly addicted to makeup”
If only I was born 8 years later and didn’t have to suffer the Noughties beauty trends. Bebo deleted. Photos burnt. Recycle bin emptied. ADIÓS. Someone PLEASE call the make-up police, my eyes are burning!!
Eldora Handmade Lashes
A pair of eyelashes are guaranteed in every box. Winner! You can never have too many eyelashes right?! These Eldora H167 handmade eyelashes look such good quality, I can’t wait to try them out. On the website they sell for £7.50 – you can shop yourself and see the full range at Eldora Shop
Obsessed Cosmetics Pressed Eye-shadow
Copper & Burnt Rose
I’m yet to try these on my eyes, but the colours do look incredibly pigmented! The eye-shadows are from the metallic collection and I’m happy with the colours I have been given, I will definitely get use out of them. These are £4.50 each and you can buy them from Obsessed Cosmetics
The Be Beautiful Studio Cosmetic Glitter
This glitter looks like a champagne colour – not too silver, not too gold. Love it already. The glitters retail at £5 – if you wanted to see more, visit The Be Beautiful Studio
The Be Beautiful Salted Caramel Lip Scrub
This lip scrub smells/tastes(?) lovely and as it exfoliates your lips – creating the perfect base for lipsticks. On the website this retails at £3.
Peggy Sage Lip Pencil
What I like about this beauty box is that a lot of the products could potentially be worn together. For example – this lip liner and liquid lipstick go perfectly together! I really like this lip pencil, it glides on nicely and it will be useful as a base under a lot of my lipsticks. You can buy this lip pencil from Code Cosmetics for £6
Lychee Liquid Lipstick – Truffle
I have tried this lipstick and the verdict is: it applies very smoothly and is nicely pigmented however I’m not 100% on the colour. The lipstick dries with a matte finish and is very long wearing. For me, the colour is too dark for a typical daytime look, however I will try it with an evening look and see how I feel. Not everyone likes ‘matte’ lipstick textures, however this does seem to glide on and will definitely last you a whole night. This costs £12.99 from Lycheexo
The box is guaranteed to contain a value of £40 – £100. The total value of March’s box is £43.49, which is great as you definitely get your money’s worth. Founding members also get access to free online makeup and hair tutorials that are worth over £400. I aim to post a make-up look using these products in the next few weeks as I haven’t tried them all out properly as of yet (life definitely takes over sometimes)
Overall I am pleased with this box and I am looking forward to seeing what arrives in April’s box.
