Glitter, feathers, rainbows, balloons, wigs, fancy dress… What an extravaganza. I’d have killed to have gone to an epic 2018 pride parade. At least GlossyBox has hit us up with -yet another- special design box to fill us with good vibes and a mini colourful LGBT celebration of our own! Hurrah!

The GlossyBox team have taken their standard pink box and given it a fabulous rainbow makeover! I love this funky, bold, colourful box. It makes a powerful PRIDE statement. The products within the box are primarily make-up focused and have been tailored to embrace your individuality.

3INA – THE SHADOW PAINT 703 | RRP £8.95 |

Kicking off with last months ‘sneak peak‘. The product that really epitomises what this box is all about. This is a midnight blue, highly pigmented and waterproof eye-shadow. It can be worn bold and striking or you can adapt it into something more subtle. You can also apply it using an angled brush to line your lashes – the possibilities are endless! This colour is not everyones cup of tea, but I think the uniqueness really coincides with the ‘Pride’ theme. I love how it looks like an actual mini tube of paint? Nice touch! I love creating striking, bold makeup looks so I should get use out of this, even if it is for fancy dress or Halloween.

The impression the name of this highlighter gives me is that my cheekbones will be spotted from outer space.. And because of that, its a yes from me! My collection of highlighters seems to be growing an unhealthy amount, but I use highlighters most days, so I guess its a good thing. This highlighter claims to last 8 hours and can be used as a more natural illumination by mixing a few dabs with your foundation. The shade is quite deep and warm so will look amazing on tanned skin. Pale skin? Questionable, but could work. It also smells fabulous.

Can I just start by stating how much I love this brand. Trifle bring you the cutest & fruitiest cosmetics all with a scrumptious confectionery twist. The ‘Lip and Cheek Jam’ is no exception. I love the brands fresh, unique take on cosmetics. To be honest, I’m not sure I will use this on my cheeks.. Its just not for me I’m afraid. I will definitely use this on my lips though! Mwah x

Would this box even be complete without a rainbow face mask to give you instagram selfie-worthy skin?! To be honest, I can’t remember the last time I used a face mask. I don’t really indulge in these luxuries as I try to stick to the same skin routine to keep my skin as spot-free as possible.. Yes, the struggle is real. But who doesn’t love a pamper night? Especially sheet masks – gotta love a sheet mask. This one is formulated with hyaluronic acid to help achieve a flawless base for makeup. Usually, each GlossyBox has slightly different products in, however this month all boxes will be the same with the exception of this Victoria’s Secret Pink face mask.

At first I thought this was an eyeliner, and I was kinda like – oh, ok, *yawn* another eyeliner. Then I realised it was a heart stamp. And then I was kinda like.. I don’t really get it. And I still don’t really get it. But I think it could be quite cute. It literally is a small black heart stamp, which would actually look really cool incorporated into a makeup look. I would really struggle to recreate a perfect heart shape with eyeliner, so these are quite a clever idea. Everyday makeup? No. Some sort of valentines-inspired makeup look? Yes. Will kids love it? Most definitely. Do I really want to be giving away half my products to kids? Not really but at-least they will get used.. lolz.

I can’t lie to you guys. I’ve already tried the Love Island edition of these, and.. These sticker tattoos just aren’t for me. Don’t get me wrong, they are beautiful. They come in a high shine metallic gold/black colour with a range of tribal/festival-esque shapes and patterns. They can be worn all over the body as bracelets, anklets, around your eyes.. You name it! I also love how you can use these tattoo transfers on objects as-well, which I never thought of before. They are easy to apply and have a stunning effect which is absolutely mess-free. They are perfect for festivals and if you are feeling a little bit edgy. As I am not a festival goer, and I’m not edgy, I’m not really excited about receiving these. My niece and nephew will love them though 😉
